Dominic Lake Block G
Located west of Lac Le Jeune Lake, between Merritt and Kamloops.
The cabin was built in 1975. The cabin is approx. 650 square feet in size.(to be confirmed).
The cabin comes fully furnished with new beds (purchased last summer) kitchen and living room furniture, bedroom furniture etc.
All windows are screened.
This area consists of a full size sofa bed, chairs, a small kitchen table by the front window, and a larger round table and chairs in the center of the room.
There is an airtight wood heater centered at the living room wall. On the kitchen side there is a counter with double aluminum sinks at the front window with running cold spring water, properly plumbed to drain to a rock filled septic pit at the far rear of the cabin.
There is a Nelson Nickel plated wood stove in pristine condition. It has a water tank for heating water, but it is presently not hooked up.
There is a secondary free-standing propane stove, with 4 burners and standard size oven. Next to this stove is another five foot counter with drawers and cupboards. There is also a propane fridge in proper working order. There is propane lights, plus the cabin is wired and fitted with ceiling electrical lights in each of the two bedrooms, the kitchen and dining area, plus two outdoors lights.
There are wall outlets and light switches.
The whole cabin is insulated. The interior walls are finished in a medium light grain paneling. Ceiling is done in a 12" x 12" white ceiling tile.
There is a side room off the kitchen, which runs the full length of the cabin and has a side door to the outside. The rear part of this room contains the bathroom, which has a 4' vanity with sink, a full bathtub, a chemical toilet, and storage cabinet, and mirrors. There is a large skylight in the ceiling. The sink and tub both have running water, and proper drainage.
There is a Bell-Expressvu satellite dish connected on the roof.
There is a small storage attachment at the rear side of the cabin for propane tanks, and electrical connector for the generator.

Large covered sun deck 20' x 6' with 3/4" flooring with light colored beige waterproof vinyl, facing Dominic Lake.
There is a 20 foot travel trailer, modified to be used as an extra bedroom or two, as there are two beds, kitchen table and a bureau.
There are two storage sheds on the property.
Floating Dock is approx. 15' in length.
Access to the property is via a two wheel drive access road at the back of the property. The property is reasonably level by the cabin.
The property is .82 acre in size and nicely treed with a gradual sloping grade to a lovely flat lake frontage, which is nice and safe for children.
The property is nicely treed with southern exposure. 100' of lake frontage x 99' at the back of the property. 344' deep on the west side by 381.63' deep on the east side There is a fire pit area located between the cabin and the lake.

Dominic Lake & Area
Dominic Lake is located west of the Lac Le Jeune exit. Quick and easy access from the Coquihalla Hwy., you travel towards Logan Lake for approx. 8 km and take the Paska Lake road towards Paska and Faces Lakes.
You travel up this year round maintained paved road for approx. 8-9 km until you reach Paska Lake. From this junction you travel another 8-9km to Dominic Lake. The Dominic lake road is a very good gravel road, however it is not maintained on a year round basis, unless there is active logging in the area.
The lodge owner at the Dominic Lake fishing camp has kept the road open during the winter months for the past years. This could however change without notice.
Dominic Lake doesn't have hydro or phone services, however cellular phone service seems to work well in the area.
The area is popular with snowmobilers in the winter time.
Dominic lake is a very quiet fishing lake. There is no Forestry site on the lake, which allows for a quiet peaceful retreat.
Dominic Lake is approx.
- 3 1/2 hours from the Fraser Valley
- 50 minutes from Kamloops
- 30 minutes from Logan Lake
- 2 1/2 hrs. from Kelowna
There is several alternate routes to Dominic Lake from the Trans Canada Hwy. via Cherry Creek. Driving time is approx. 30 - 40 minutes via the Duffy Lake road or the Greenstone Mtn. road past the Dairy Lake chain.
Fishing and Hunting
Moose and deer are plentiful in the surrounding region, (especially deer). Dominic Lake is in the heart of many dozens of fishing lakes, including many 4x4 and walk-in lakes, that provide an excellent fishing experience. Rainbow trout is the only species in Dominic Lake, and WILD RAINBOWS can be found in many of the surrounding area lakes.
Some of the more popular lakes are; Paska, Face, Big Wyse, Little Wyse, Durrand, Duffly, Dairy Lakes, Lac Le Jeune, Fred, Rosemore, Little Frogmore, Big Frogmore, Jacko, McConnell, Stake, Lodgepole, Surrey, Sussex, Bob, Harold, Mildred, Ridge Lakes, Gump, Mamitt, Logan lake, Tunkwa and Leighton Lakes.
