The LOG cabin was built approx. 26 years ago, and is 500 square feet. Built on ( 9 ) main logs with support structures from one side to the other.
Screen was then laid down and bagged insulation was put down. 2 x 6 tongue and groove was then laid down. Then a 6" space and a second 2 x 6 tongue and groove floor was put down. The walls were then put up and then a 2 x 6 tongue and groove roof was put on.
Then insulation on top of this, then another 2 x 6 tongue and groove roof, with tarpaper and cedar shingles. Each log was scribed to make sure of a perfect fit, and in between each log is insulation.
The cabin was built by Joe Butt of Joe Butt Construction. Two bedroom on the upper loft and kitchen and living room on the main floor.
The cabin is heated with a Fisher wood stove. There is a generator for power and fridge Large open covered veranda over looking the lake. Separate outbuilding which has a shower and sauna. Large storage shed.
The property is 1 acre in size with 100' of lakefrontage. Access is via a secondary gravel road at the read of the property.
The Crown Lease was issued in October 1990 for a 15 year term. The Crown Leases are always renewable. The Crown Lease fee for 2003 will be $2,382.00
The owner can either remain with the Crown Lease or apply to purchase the land from the Crown.
The buyer must make their own inquiries with Crown Lands in Kamloops.
Property taxes for 2002 are $852.63 Zoning is AF-1
