The Crown Lease was renewed on June 30, 2016 for a new 15 year term. The 2017 Crown lease fee is $1,560.00 which is based on 3% of the annual assessed land value. The 2017 assessed land value is $56,400 and at 3% the 2018 Crown lease fee will be $1,692.00 The reason the land value is assessed lower than true waterfront is because between the property and the lake is a narrow walkway/ATV path and therefore not considered “waterfront property”. This is a bonus to keep the annual lease fees and property taxes very low.
Property taxes for 2017 were $244.76
Prospective buyers should make their own inquiries at The Ministry of Forests and Lands in Kamloops at 1-877-855-3222 in regards to the subject property, and the Crown Lease assignment process.

From the top entrance of the property there is a slight grade down to the cabin, which has lots of room for parking vehicles with a wrap around driveway.
The property is mostly all flat useable land with a slight incline up the back from the entrance point to the outhouse. From the landing by the cabin there is a lovely view of Glen lake, with a slight grade leading down to the lake. From the property pin to the lake edge is approx. 50'

There is no hydro or phone located at Glen lake. The owners have been getting Telus connection on the other side of the lake up an old logging road. What would be ideal is to purchase the Rogers system for good reliable service in the area.
From the Headwaters lake road to Glen lake is approx. 3 km, and this road may not be maintained and plowed during the winter months, unless there is active logging in the area.
You take the Princeton road from Peachland up the mountain and follow the Headwaters lake fishing camp arrows to Km 15 and turn left down to Glen lake to Km 18 sign.
The Glen lake road is a little narrower but an excellent road to travel. Active logging right now so drive slow and watch for logging trucks.
Possession of the property can be anytime.
There is a second alternate route. If you are coming from Merritt towards Kelowna. Approx. 60km from Merritt on the Connector you will come to the SUNSET MAIN exit for the Hatheume lake resort on the Pennask summit. This road can some times be a rough road depending whether there has been logging in the area. Take this exit and follow the Hatheume lake signs for approx. 7km and you will come to the under pass for the Connector Freeway.
Do not go under the Freeway, but rather make a sharp right turn and follow the gravel forest service road for approx. 8 km where you will come to a junction in the road by Headwaters lake #2.
