Directions to Glimpse Lake
From Kamloops driving on the old Hwy. 5-A, you travel past Stump Lake
and turn about the middle of Nicola Lake onto the Douglas Lake road.
From Kamloops to this turn is approximately 45 minutes drive, or 65 km.
From Merritt to this turn is approximately 30 minutes drive.
After you turn off near Quilchena onto the Douglas Lake road, you travel 7 km up the Douglas Lake road and turn left at the hydro sub-station onto Lauder road. Then travel on the Lauder road for another 13 km until you reach Glimpse Lake.
Driving time from Kamloops approximately 1 hour. Driving time from Merritt approximately 45 minutes.
In the summer time coming from Kamloops it is shorter to travel past Peterhope Lake, and over the mountain.
