Hatheume Lake
Hatheume Lake has an excellent reputation for
its large Rainbow Trout, with large 5 to 10 pound rainbows
being reported caught.
Crown Lease
The Crown lease was renewed in August 2002
for an additional 15 year term.
The annual Crown lease fee is based on 3% of the annual
assessed land value. The 2005/2006 lease fee will be based
on the 2005 assessed land value of $82,000 which will be
at 3% or $2,460.00 ( to be confirmed )
2005 property taxes were approx. $712.86
The land was offered for sale in 1989 from Land & Water BC.
Any new owner would have to make an application to purchase the land
from Crown Lands. This can be confirmed by calling Land & Water BC,

Things to do
There are many other lakes in the area to fish, hike and canoe
including the famous Penask lake. Some of the lakes in the area
are Pinacle, Petersen, Windy, Pattinson, Steer, Marsh, Neveu,
Walker, Reservoir, Skunk,and Sunset.
There is many hundreds of miles of back roads and trails to enjoy
and explore 4 x 4, hiking, mountain biking or ATV's.
X-Country skiing and snow mobiling are also
very popular in the winter months.

Hatheume Lake is located 25 km off the main Hwy. 97C
"Connector" between Merritt and Westbank.
You exit via the Sunset Main road and travel the
road towards the Hatheume Lake Resort.
