Hatheume Lake Cabin
Cabin on 0.86 acre peninsula
The size of the property is 113' of lakefrontage x 331'. The cabin is located on a large .86 acre, which extends out into the lake on a small peninsula. Located in a quiet bay at one end of the lake with southeast exposure. There are only 4 cabins at the one end of the lake. The nearest cabin is approximately 150 to 200 yards away and well treed from one another for maximum privacy.
The cabin is approximately 45 years old plus, and is 312 square feet in size. There is a very nice large wrap around sun deck which over looks Hatheume Lake. I found the inside of the cabin is very clean, comfortable and in good condition. The bedroom measures 12' x 9'-9" and has two sets of bunks beds on either side. The living room measures 15'-5" x 12' and has a wood stove.
There is an older trailer trailer that has a private sun deck in a private location.
There is a new 16' x 24' cabin with a loft that needs some finishing inside and outside.
Location is approximately 2 1/2 hours from the Fraser Valley. Driving time is approximately 60 Km from Merritt along the Peachland Connector, and 25 Km on a Forest Service road to Hatheume Lake.
The lease was renewed on November 25, 2005 for a 15 year term.
Property taxes for year 2007 are $960.48 The lease fee for 2007 is based at 3% of the 2006 assessed land value which was $109,000 or $3,270.00 for 2007.
