Hatheume Lake Resort - co-operative
Deluxe two story framed cabin built in 1997. The main floor is 670 square feet in size with vaulted ceilings with large open floor plan. Main floor has dining room, living room, kitchen, bedroom and full bathroom. From the dining room/living room sliding glass doors open onto large 28' x 10' sun deck over looking Hatheume lake. A mix of carpet and lino floors throughout with free standing propane burning fireplace in living room.
Kitchen area consists of propane stove, electric fridge and stainless sink. Storage is located out front of the cabin with easy access under the sun deck. Storage is also accessible under the cabin by a floor access panel just off the kitchen. There is approx. 5' clearance for storage under the cabin.
The upstairs loft is approx., 300 square feet in size with one large bedroom, and lots of closet and storage space. Nice open view of lower floor from loft.
This cabin is presently in the rental pool and is rented for $195.00/night.
As an owner you also have a 1/24 interest in the Freehold title and the lodge.
Hatheume lake Resort is set up and run as a business with caretaker/managers on site year round. This adds tremendous security for an owner, knowing that your investment is well protected to avoid vandalism.
Included in the annual fees are:
- 1/24th share in the Lodge
- Nightly rental if desired $195.00/night ( optional ) Split with lodge.
- The lodge operates on a 65/25/10 split for the rental pool with 65% going to the owners, 25% in to the rental pool and 10% to the caretakers .
- Note you are not allowed to rent the cabin outside the rental pool, however you are allowed to have family and friends stay at the cabin.
Hatheume lake Resort levies for 2010 - run Feb. to February were; ($4,400.00) Included in these fees are:

- Lots of common area for boat launch at dock.
Purchase price includes all furniture, appliances, BBQ, and window coverings.
Hatheume Lake backs on to Douglas Lake Ranch.

Half way between Merritt and West Kelowna on the Okanagan Connector you will find the Hatheume lake exit on the Pennask Summit. You take the Sunset main exit and follow the signs for 24 km on a graded Forest Service road to Hatheume Lake Resort.
Things to do
There are many other lakes in the area to fish, hike and canoe including the famous Penask lake. Some of the lakes in the area are Pinnacle, Petersen, Windy, Pattinson, Steer, Marsh, Neveu, Walker, Reservoir, Skunk,and Sunset.
There is many hundreds of miles of back roads and trails to enjoy and explore 4 x 4, hiking, mountain biking or ATV's. X-Country skiing and snow mobiling are also very popular in the winter months.
Hatheume lake stats
Hatheume lake is a trophy class fishing lake. You need to know your provincial fishing regulations before setting out on any lake. You are allowed only one fish limit per day and the rainbow trout must NOT BE SMALLER than 50cm or 19 3/4" in length. Single barbless hook with bait ban. 10 hp maximum allowed on lake.
Hatheume lake has had the Triploid rainbows introduced to the lake. These rainbow trout will see no spawning cycle throughout their life and in two years will grow into a very large fighting fish. They can grow quickly in excess of 8 pounds, and larger ones have been taken from the lake. NO ICE FISHING ALLOWED.

Hatheume Lake is located 25 km off the main Hwy. 97C "Connector" between Merritt and Westbank. You exit via the Sunset Main road and travel on Bear Creek main following the signs and then onto the Hatheume Lake road.
