Buyers should do their own due diligence with The Integrated Land Management Bureau, formerly ( Land and Water Inc. ) in Kamloops,
and further discuss the assignment process and any fees associated with this process.
Should you have any interest in applying to purchase the land from the Crown, you will need to discuss this process with Land & Water officials in Kamloops.
I understand that there is ongoing discussions between Crown Lands and the Okanagan Irrigation District regarding this issue.
The Crown Lease was renewed on June 30, 2002 for an additional 15 year term with Crown Lands.
The annual Crown Lease fee is based on 3% of the annual assessed land value.
