Headwaters lake #3 has an elevation of 1,300 meters or 4,265 feet. The surface area of Headwaters lake #3 is 18.814 ha, or 46.49 surface acres. Headwaters lake #3 has a perimeter of 3.619 kilometers or 1.711 miles. Buyers should to confirm these stats if they are important to them.
Headwaters lakes are located just north of Peachland via the old Princeton Hwy. At approx. Km 21 you will come to the turn into Lake #1, which is a small fishing resort. Continue on straight and your will circle around lake #2, and come to lake #3.
If you are coming from Merritt towards Kelowna about 30 minutes you can exit the Sunset Main exit for the Hatheume lake resort on the Pennask summit.
Follow the Hatheume lake signs for approx. 7km and you will come to the under pass for the Connector Freeway. DO NOT GO UNDER THE FREEWAY. You will make a sharp right turn here and follow the forest service road in the other direction for approx. 8 km where you will come to a junction in the road.
Turn right here and drive past lake #2 approx. 1/2 to 1 km and down a slight grade in the road for about 1/2 Km where you should see my for sale sign and just past this point you will see an orange gate to lake #3 cabin owners. This gate is generally locked.
I am not sure if this alternate route is maintained through the winter months, so access may be very limited using this route unless active logging is taking place in the area. This route will cut approx. 1 1/2 hours driving time off your trip coming in from this direction versus going down into Westbank and over to Peachland and back up to Headwaters lakes.

  • Merritt to Headwaters lake #2 is approx. 1 hour via the Hatheume lake exit off the Connector at the Pennask Summit.
  • Penticton to Headwaters Lake is approx. 1 1/2 hours.
  • Summerland to Headwaters lake is approx. 1 hour.
  • Kamloops to Headwaters lakes is approx. 2 hours via the Hatheume lake exit on the Pennask Summit.
  • Salmon Arm area is approx. 2 hours.
  • Abbotsford area is approx. 2 hours via the Hatheume lake exit.
