Headwaters Lake #3 data
Headwaters Lake #2 has an elevation of 1,300 meters or 4,265' level. The lake has been stocked every May with 5000 Blackwater Yearling trout since 1999. The surface area of Headwater Lake #3 is approx. 18.814 ha or 46.49 surface acres. Headwaters Lake #3 has a perimeter of 3.619 kilometers or 1.711 miles. Buyers need to confirm this with their own due diligence. The cabin is located at km 27 up the Princeton road towards the Headwaters lake chain. The Headwater Lakes chain is located just north of Peachland via the old Princeton Hwy. At approx. Km 20 you will come to the Headwater Lake fishing resort on Lake #1. Keep to your right on the main road and you will circle around lake #2 and keep to your left at the fork at the end of Lake #2. Travel another kilometer and you will come to lake #3.
There is a second alternate route if you are coming from Merritt. Approx. 60 Km from Merritt you will see the Hatheume lake exit. You take the Hatheume Lake exit off the connector and travel approx. 7 km following the Hatheume lake Resort signage. Instead of passing under the freeway heading towards Hatheume lake, you head in the other direction and follow this gravel road for approx. 8 km where you will come to a junction in the road. Turn right and travel past lake #2 for 1 plus km, and you arrive at lake #3. I am not sure if this route is maintained through the winter months. But it will cut approx. 1 1/2 hours off your driving time in the summer if you are coming from the Merritt direction along the CONNECTOR towards Kelowna.

- Kamloops to Headwaters Lake is approx. 2 hours via the Hatheume Lake exit.
- Salmon Arm area is approx. 2 hours.
- Abbotsford area is approx. 2 1/2 hours.
