Leighton Lake Stats
Leighton Lake is another beautiful Kamloops lake, of which I have enjoyed fishing for the famous Kamloops Trout since 1965. Leighton Lake receives the majority of its water from the falls which cascade down from Tunkwa Lake.
I have attached a link to the listing which is of Brian Chan, who is not only the most knowledgeable Biologist I have ever met, while wetting a line in the Kamloops Region of BC Brian works with Ministry of Fisheries in Kamloops as a senior Biologist. Brian is also a very knowledgeable writer and teacher of fly fishing techniques when it comes to "still water fishing".
The property is presently located on Crown Lease land. Crown Lease properties have been sold or ( Crown Granted ) on both Leighton and Tunkwa Lakes over the past 5 years to cabin owners.
