The forest service road runs cuts through the property providing access to the far end of the lake.
The lake is accessible via a gravel road from the Coqhualla Hwy. and is in good condition in the summer. There are no services in the area, and prospective buyers would have to have either solar power, propane or generator.
There is a registered water license on Kelton Creek for 250 gallons per day. This is a gravity fed water system which supplies cold water to the cabin. The creek is also shared with the neighbours.

Murray lake is a long narrow lake of just over 2km in length. Fish Wizard shows depths in Murray lake from 65' to 70' deep. The elevation of Murray lake is 3,631 or 1,107 meters. The surface is shown as 35.712 hectares or 88.25 acres. The lake is deep and clear and suitable for swimming and fishing. There is no motor restrictions shown in the BC Fishing Regulations guide.
Located just east of the former Coquihalla Hwy., toll booth via the Juliet road exit #238. Until the winter snow is gone there is no access other than via snow mobile. Driving time from the toll booth is approx. 20 minutes and driving time from Hope is approx. 1 hour.
Using the NEW wide Juliet Forest Service road driving time is approx. 10 minutes off the Coquihalla Hwy.
The Murray lake Forest Service road is not maintained in the winter months and snow packs can be deep, making for an ideal snowmobiling destination in the winter months. The location of Murray lake in proximity to the Fraser Valley and Lower Mainland makes for an ideal Recreational Property for people living in these area.
