Property Stats
The total property size of the strata is approx. 15 acres, and consists of 26 other property owners. All the lots have been built on.
2010 Gross property taxes are $1,700.00
Monthly strata fee is $89.16/month
Amenities include
Private parking is located in the common parking lot out front to the access to the bridge. ATV and foot traffic is only allowed across the bridge. There is a registered covenant on title that allows a maximum of 9 months of occupancy of the cabin when living on site. 2 common dock facilities for boat moorage.Hydro, water and sewer services. The sewage disposal system is located just off site, and the strata has a license of occupation for the property. The water is provided by well water, and is a new state of the art treatment system.
The sewage disposal system is provided by a large septic system located just off the property, which has a license. THERE IS NO PHONE AND INTERNET SERVICE AT THE RESORT.
The Strata estimated the hydro each May for the cabin useage. The cabin is presently prepaid up to May 31, 2010 in the amount of $500.00
Access is via the Coquihalla Hwy. to Merritt and then on Hwy. 5A past Nicola Lake and into Peterhope Lake. Quick and easy access from Kelowna via the Connector, and from Kamloops via Hwy. 5A past Stump Lake. Year round maintained gavel roads. Cell service is good in the Peterhope Lake area. Roger doesn't work well in the area.

See Drop Down Box below. The fishing regulations on Peterhope Lake are; NO ICE FISHING. Daily trout limit is 2. Bait ban, single barbless hook. Peterhope Lake is a quiet peaceful fishing lake, and is NOT meant for water skiing.
Things To Do
There is many other activities to do in the area, including biking, canoeing, wind surfing, fishing, bird watching, hiking, ATVing, X-country skiing and snow mobiling in the winter months.
And of course if you are looking for a larger body of water to either seadoo, water-ski or wind surf on there is Stump Lake or Nicola Lake which is only a short 15 minute drive. If you are into mountain biking there is hundreds of miles of back roads and trails to explore. The power line is located at the end of Peterhope Lake which also travels in both directions for hundreds of miles.
There is also many other lakes in the area to fish, hike and canoe including; Plateau, Little Peterhope, Glimpse, Stump, Nicola, Big Blue, Little Blue, along with dozens of other smaller lakes in the area.
Location & Showings
Peterhope lake is located between Kamloops and Merritt on the Old Kamloops Highway or Hwy. 5A Coming from Kamloops you would take the Hwy. 5A through Knutsford down past Stump Lake, and into Peterhope Lake. Coming via Merritt you would take the exit 290 at the east end of town and follow the highway past Nicola Lake on Hwy. 5A and into Peterhope Lake. Peterhope Lake forest service road is approx. 8km from the highway. When you reach the 6km marker you take the fort to the right which takes you down a private road to the resort. You continue on past the resort entrance and past the Provincial Forest Service site, and the property is located about the middle of Peterhope Lake. Please respect other private property owners property.
