The only restriction on Pinantan Lake, in the Provincial Fishing guide is "electric motors only" Pinantan Lake is stocked annually since 2001 with 4,000 Rainbow Trout from the Fraser Valley hatchery.

According to the "backroad mapbook" the fishing is considered good with rainbows up to 2 kg or 4.5 pounds. Other excellent area lakes that offer excellent fishing as well are; Hyas, Andy, Paul, Hadlow, Warren, and Pemberton Lakes.
