The cabin was built in 1980 and has two bedrooms, large kitchen, living room, and dining area. New propane fridge/freezer.
A new galvanized steel roof is currently being installed in April 2012. In 2010 a NEW SUNDECK was added to the cabin with a fabulous view of Pinaus lake. It measures 33' in length by 8'-5" wide with stair access on either end of the deck. Treated pine timber. New lattice work around the sun deck. The outside of the cabin has recently been painted.

There is a gravity fed water system from a nearby spring that services the cabin and wash house. (Summer usage only) This is a shared system and the owners pay $60 every three years for the water license. The shared system is from an underground spring located approx., 100 yards up the road. There is lots of clean drinking water for the 6 cabin owners that built the water system over the years.
The cabin has a lovely view of Pinaus lake, and is very private and nicely treed. The area is very peaceful and quiet with an abundance of wildlife and wild birds.

Cabin comes complete with furniture, beds, kitchen table and chairs, generator, propane bottles, generator shed and storage shed. Lighting is by generator with backup 12 volt battery system and propane lighting.
Their is a propane generator that powers the cabin with an auxiliary 12 volt battery system that is recharged while the generator is running. In side the cabin is a push button switch to start the generator for instant power.

There is a security locking chain at the main road that leads down to the 6 cabins on this knoll. The property has a moderate slope leading down to the lake shore and dock. There is adequate room for parking up behind the cabin near the access road, and lots of room to expand if required. The property is .57 acre in size with 118' of lake frontage. 154' at the rear by 144' on the east side by 262' on the west side.
The cabin is facing in a south westerly direction with sunny exposure throughout the day. The owners share on a "good neighbor" basis their dock with their two other neighbors.

Pinaus Lake
Pinaus lake is a long, clean, clear deep lake. Approx. 3 miles in length, and large enough to land float planes on and water ski. Pinaus lake offers great Rainbow fishing. Pinaus lake has an elevation of 982 meters, or 3221 feet, with 417 surface acres in size. Maximum depth of 53.6 meters or 176' feet. Mean depth of 13.1 meters or 42.98' feet. There are no restrictions on the lake regarding motors. The lake will ice over generally prior to Christmas and by ice free by the end of April.
Things To Do
There are many other lakes in the immediate area to fishing including Pinaus, Little Pinaus, Lady King, Square, Jimmy, Nugget, Woods, Drum, Sawmill, along with many hundreds of endless back roads and trails to explore. Mountain biking, hiking, or ATVing will provide endless hours of enjoyment.
The old Ranger Station Forestry lookout on top of Tutakumun mountain is located just off the Pinaus lake road, and is well worth the afternoon 4x4 or ATV trip. The view in all directions are spectacular and the Falkland Valley farm land below offer breath taking views. What is very unique about Pinaus lake is PEACE AND QUIET that the area offers, along with the abundance of deer and wild birds.
Location
Pinaus lake is 20 minutes or 14km off Hwy. 97 between Westwold and Falkland on the Vernon to Kamloops Hwy. You keep to the left at you reach the Pinaus lake resort, and continue around the mountain road for approx. another 1 to 2 km until you come to my directional arrow. The road is maintained and generally in good driving condition.
