The large sun deck facing Walloper Lake has been redone in new clear wood decking, to match the inside of the cabin. There is an updated storage shed beside the cabin, which has been refurbished in new wood siding. An outhouse is out back.
The owners currently haul in their own drinking water, from Lac Le Jeune or Kamloops.
Access is via the old Lac Le Jeune highway onto a secondary road, which is maintained on a year round basis by Highways. Excellent location for winter enjoyment. The X-Country ski trails are located from Lac Le Jeune to Stake Lake ski lodge.
The cabin is accessible with a two wheel drive vehicle year round. Walloper Lake is approximately 1 Km from the Coquihalla Hwy., making the destination a quick and easy jaunt from the coast. The cabin is located on the quiet south side of the lake on Osprey road.
Hydro is available at the end of the road. Good cellular service in the area.
Walloper Lake has many bays and makes an excellent rainbow fishing lake.
The Crown lease is based on 3% of the 2001 land value of $94,000. 2002 Crown Lease fee is $2,820.00. The lease was renewed on August 14, 1987 for 15 years, and can be renewed for 15 years at any time by the present owners or the new owners. Crown lands will renew the lease on or before the renewable date. Any new owners can remain with the Crown lease or apply to purchase the land from the Crown.
2001 property taxes is $893.24

To the north of Walloper Lake is the Dairy Lake chain, Big and Little Wyse, Paska, Face, and of course the World Famous Tunkwa and Leighton Lakes are only a 20 minute drive via Logan Lake.
To the east via the old Lac Le Jeune road is Lac Le Jeune, Fred, Lodgepole, Stake, McConnell and Jacko lakes. The town of Logan Lake is only a 15 minute drive and Kamloops is 20 minutes via the Coquihalla Hwy.
